I don't know exactly when , but Kareem started going to concerts to
see his favorite groups sometime during his elementary school years.
U2,, The Jacksons, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys,
Snoop Dogg,
Pearl Jam, Rage against the Machine, he didn't miss a showing and aimed high
for backstage passes and floor seats.

He didn't have to suffer the 8-track ...
but still liked to collect LPs, ...
he started with cassettes, ...
then moved on to CD's ...
then converted to Ipod for music at ease.
Kareem loved all genres of music.
Oldies, Disco, Rap, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Frank Sinatra, Hard Rock, Heavy
Metal, Soul, R&B, Reggae. I can't say that he was very fond of Pop
music though, because he couldn't bear to listen to the Backstreet Boys
or Britney Spears.
